ROBERT CHEW VIOLINS

ABOUT
Robert Chew began building violins in 2011 in a studio at the bottom of his garden. By profession, Robert plays the violin at the Royal Opera House and builds violins in his spare time.
He has now built many violins and violas, some of which
are now being played by professional musicians in London. One of his violas is used by the Principal Viola at the orchestra of the Royal Opera House, and Robert also plays one of the violins he made in performances.
Robert comes from a family with violin making in the blood, and currently plays two violins built by his great great grandfather.
Please enjoy looking at the violins Robert has made so far, and get in touch if you would like more information about available instruments or would like to commission one.
